Статья посвящена проблемам эволюции формы и содержательного наполнения образа традиционных немецких керамических сосудов (XVI- XVII вв.) во второй половине XIX столетия. На основе исследования одного из знаковых изделий бытовой керамики эпохи историзма - кувшина «Рыцарь» (Германия, Вестервальд, 1870 - начало 1880 гг., модель Р. Ханке) из собрания Саратовского государственного художественного музея имени А.Н. Радищева автор выявляет, как трансформировалась форма «кувшина с бородатой маской», содержание этого образа и элементов декора. В статье анализируется, насколько мировосприятие людей эпохи историзма, их эстетические запросы и ценностные ориентиры проявляются в изменении смыслового значения образа и модернизации традиционной ренессансной формы сосуда.
The article is devoted to issues of the evolution of the form and content filling of the image on traditional German ceramic vessels (16-17 centuries) in the second half of the 19th century. Based on the study of one of the iconic products of household ceramics of the era of historicism, the jug “Knight” (Germany, Westerwald, 1870s or early 1880s, modelled by R. Hanke) from the collection of the Saratov Radischev Museum, the author explains the shape of the “jug with a bearded mask”, the sense of this image and decor elements. The article analyzes the extent to which the worldview perception among people of the era of historicism, their aesthetic demands and value orientations manifest themselves in changing the semantic meaning of the image and modernizing the traditional Renaissance form of the vessel.
