<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>In recent years Russian researchers started exploring the process of consumer socialization of children and teenagers which was extensively studied abroad and thus led to the accumulation of a significant body of data on the issue. Those studies were mostly based on cognitive, behavioral approaches and on building integrated models (based mostly on interaction theory). This article contains results of foreign studies (within described approaches) that concentrate on three aspects (main agents, procedural parameters and factors determinating the consumer socialization results). It is concluded that sociological research of the topic becomes more relevant today and upcoming study trends are named.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>(теоретические подходы</kwd><kwd>агенты</kwd><kwd>процесс и факторы) потребительской социализации</kwd><kwd>дети</kwd><kwd>подростки</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>(theoretical approaches</kwd><kwd>agents</kwd><kwd>process and factors of) consumer socialization</kwd><kwd>children</kwd><kwd>teenagers</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Тощенко Ж.Т.
