В период Ренессанса на холме были возведены вилла Медичи, садовый комплекс виллы Боргезе.</mixed-citation><mixed-citation xml:lang="en">Pincian Hill is located in Rome and surrounded by the Aurelian Wall. Originally the hill was outside the ancient city, in the period of the late Republic, so large villas and gardens (for example, the Gardens of Lucullus, Sallust, Pompey) were erected there. Because of the multitude of gardens, the hill was also called collis hortulorum – the hill of gardens. At a time of the Empire, the hill entered city limits and began to be built up. Today’s name of the hill comes from the family of Pincii, who owned large estates on a hill. During the Renaissance, the Villa Medici, the garden complex of Villa Borghese, were built there.</mixed-citation></citation-alternatives></ref><ref id="cit6"><label>6</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Сады Саллюстия – древнеримский садово-парковый ансамбль, принадлежал римскому историку Саллюстию.
