A synthesis of the expressive means of the documentary TV and experimental documentary cinematography in Canada of 1950-1960s

Abstract

Audio and visual formation of non-fiction television and documentary and experimental cinema in Canada of 1950-1960s can be represented as series of similar processes. These processes provoked with the active competition of television and cinematography segments of the media industry. Development and implementation of the new equipment were parallel to the search for new means of aesthetic impact on the target audiences.
