The urban park culture in the 1920-1950ies by the example of Neskuchny Garden
Abstract
The article presents one of the forms of urban culture of 1920-1950ies - the Gorky Park of Culture and Recreation. By the example of the middle part of Moscow’s Gorky Park - Neskuchny Garden - the author reveals the organization, functions, purpose of first culture parks that become models and platforms for new forms and innovative solutions in the field of urban architecture serving as recreation space for work-people.
