Formal justification of moral precepts in the philosophy of John Rawls

Abstract

The article is devoted to the idea of the original thesis of John Rawls’s theory of justice as a stage in the development of a formal justification of moral precepts in political philosophy. The decision-making procedure in ethics proposed by Rawls in his early works is analysed.
